Use arts, hopefully you picked strong casters like Olivier and Kloe, but Joshua and Estelle will do in a pinch. White Genenna and Aero Storm should remove the drones and if you have him alone, Earth Lance/Blue Impact should be enough. Keep healed, have everyone close together and keep Earth Wall up to stop his craft and Death Rage. Unless you're going for the achievement, use S-breaks on critical turns and if you can, have Estelle's Morale up beforehand when you do. Don't bother waiting until you reach 200CP either, as death rage kills anyone and resets CP.
It will be a battle of attrition, just keep healed, keep Earth Wall up and don't get impatient.
1) Clock Up EX
It helps a lot if you can get Clock Up EX for whole party as quickly as possible. Usually boss spawns few droids at the beginning before doing something more dangerous, this should give you enough time to buff up. If possible, cast Clock Up EX on three characters at the beginning, 4th can do Earth Wall on whole party (and later get Clock Up EX from another party member).
2) Ignore most droids
Droids do only minor damage with straight line attacks and depending on your party formation they can attack one or two party members at best (3 or 4 at worst). I normally concentrate area arts only on those droids that are near Reverie because they can heal or buff it, others are just minor annoyance. In rare cases they may use arts as attack and one of them is single target art with chance to instantly kill, easy to counter with earth guard.
3) Use Earth Wall during the battle
Try to have at least two party members with Earth Guard enabled whole time, four if possible. Try to use turn orders so that you can cast it after droids but before Reverie, this way droids don't break your guard (better to take damage from droids than Death Rage from Reverie).
4) Stay close
I know it may sound silly to keep characters close to each other but reason is simple: just one character is enough to cast Earth Wall on whole party. As long as you can keep group together, have Clock Up EX and Earth Guard up and are able to do some damage between those turns then the Reverie will go down eventually.
I'm normally having Kloe and Olivier with me because it is really easy to do the boss with them, haven't really practiced the boss with other characters. And it is easy to get 3 characters with Clock Up EX and all 4 with Earth Wall.
5) Orbments:
Cast 2, EP Cut 3, Action 2 or 3, Defense 3 are some of the good quartz for the battle.
Cast 2: Obviously to lower cast time of arts which with increased speed helps a lot with controlling turn order.
EP Cut 3: Allows you to last much longer without having to restore EP during the battle. Also, one step closer to White Gehenna and Clock Up EX.
Action 2 or 3: Helps with speed and with time value of 3 or 5 it helps a lot with casting Clock Up EX.
Defense 3: Obviously decreases taken damage but also allows you to get Earth Wall with just one quartz.
I have no idea how you have tried to kill the Reverie before but it would be nice to know what you have already tried and what was the hardest thing during the battle (such as droids, Death Rage, something else, ...)?
One strategy that uses S-Breaks is feeding Estelle with Tomato Sandwiches which restores 40 CP per each, two should be enough for 100 when you include 3 CP per turn + CP gained from previous Barrage, and then spam Barrage with Estelle as much as possible or waiting for crit turn if it is coming soon. Obviously other characters need to do something else than just giving food to Estelle. Earth Wall is still important so party members don't die and lose their CP, it also helps if everyone has their speed up.
However, it is completely possible that player doesn't have Tomato Sandwiches (or doesn't have enough of them) but there are some food items which can recover 25 CP per each, three of those are about the same as two sandwiches if you include 3 more CP from extra turn it takes to use one more item.
I might have to try the Barrage spam strategy when I reach it on Nightmare. That sounds fun :)
