Is Mouse + Keyboard gameplay good?

Are there any pros and cons when using Mouse + Keyboard, or Controller is the only option for better experience?

I think the whole game is playable with mouse alone. it's an RPG after all

Mouse and keyboard is 100% fine, IMO. I never missed a controller for even one second.

It's fine in general. Though I prefer a controller to move around in the field, the mouse control is great for battles in particular.

The Trails in the Sky games were originally designed for PC, so mouse/keyboard work fine. The ports of the Crossbell and Cold Steel games also play fine with M/KB, although the control scheme shifts after CS 2, but I found the new controls were still fine.
