Mod the PC-version with Evolution mods?

As someone who has only played Trails of Cold Steel I and II. Would you recommend for me to use mods in the linked below guide to implement additions from the Evolution games, or keep the PC version as is?

I was much at a loss already to find out what Evolution even was. Now I know, but how to even decide if I want it or not??

I wouldn't bother with it.

In terms of the portraits the evolution version has less expressions, so that one is actually a downgrade.

The Voiceovers are definitely worth it imo. Provided you prefer playing with the original japanese voice acting. Then they will improve the overal experience.

The Videos are superflous imo. You can skip them and watch them on YouTube. But do not spoil yourself while trying :=)

The Visual changes are a matter of taste. Pick the ones you prefer ^^

So the original PC version does not have voices or videos?

No voices in the game without the mod, but it does have opening and ending videos. I'm not sure how the evo versions of the videos differ from the originals since I haven't seen them myself.

The original PC versions certainly do have videos.

Voices...no, they don't have that. Using the EVO voices, if you can figure out how to do that, definitely makes the games much better than they are with no voices.

I wouldn't recommend using the other EVO stuff that aren't voices though, as I hear they are rather sketchy downgrades from the original versions.
