It seems that most people who bought the game just clicked on the button without reading the description.

It just means steam is using the same key database for the game bought directly from it and other storefronts that give steam keys

Generally this means that you're getting both a Steam Store Key and a Retail Key - if for any reason you'd rather not have the game on Steam, you have a valid key for use in a non-Steam version of the game.

Geez...
The Steam key IS also a Retail key, you do not get another Key. You can see your Key in the Properties tab of your game in your Library...

Well, thats bad luck i guess. Most Games have a Product Key Tab. But nethertheless you do not get another Key with your Steam Purchase.
