Would also recommend playing with the PS4 one, literally takes seconds to sync it between devices and I believe using it via USB doesn't unsync it from the PS4.
It supports USB and Bluetooth connections, so you can play even when charging.
Just get and install:
- VigemBus (the driver)
- BthPs3 (Bluetooth)
- dshidmini (Controller settings)
The project has extensive documentation and it's really easy to follow. Pay attention during the Bluetooth dongle setup there's some extra care needed there.
By default the driver emulates a Xbox 360 controller, because it's controller most games support on windows, but you can change that using dshidmini ( https://vigem.org/projects/DsHidMini/HID-Device-Modes-Explained/ ).
