It says 9/10 for me.

Please dont tell me I tried to fish 9 times and missed the 10th time O_o v
Have I missed this achievement now? or can I fish again?

The achievement does work. Pretty much you want to opt to continue fishing until you no longer get the option to do so, that will be the 10th time and the achievement pops.

If you haven't progressed far, see about loading an autosave before that. At worst you have to redo all time attempts, but better than having to wait until your next run.

dude, trails game give lot slot to you save, why just use auto save?
