BUG: Stuck in Manoria Village
So I had no clue that there was a cut scene for a boxed lunch, leading to Estelle's incident. I kinda just went to the orphanage somehow, and there was a cut scene with Clem returning the pin leaving me confused when that happened.

It just so happened, that later on I wandered back when I had kloe in party and bought the boxed lunch. I was like, cool, a cut scene! Then clem stole the pin making me very confused but was alright with that. I went ahead and left through the right exit and continued my game, but what had happened afterwards was that when I came back to do the lighthouse quest, I couldn't exit through the top exit as joshua stated we needed to find the kid. Talked to NPC's around, and suddenly I can't exit through the right exit either, I found myself basically stuck and unable to exit :(

So...to fix this, I'd probably have to go all the way back to where the trigger first started to properly find Clem, but its already been roughly 3-4 hours...with lots of missions and storyline completed.

But yea, just letting people know about the bug if it hasn't been found yet, dunno what to do, but losing 3 hours of gameplay makes me kinda want to quit (Leading cause to me stopping a lot of games that I really enjoy)

UPDATE: So apparently, if you exit a house, then use the 6x time boost thingy, you can actually charge through scripted events interestingly enough. I remember doing that when accidentally going through doors out of bounds in the Bose Market, so yea, guess that works just ok

That is amazing actually. I wonder if that can be used to speed run :D. That being said if something like this happens again I would recommend using your auto save files. The optimisation of this game is usually great so stuff like usually don't happen (at least to me and I have played this game like 10 times at this point if not more). SO I would recommend just using the auto save files when it happens. I am sad for you though that must have sucked.

yea, I'm pretty sure I can find a good auto-save, the only thing I dread is doing the sapphire tower again, I literally got lost in there for 30 minutes because TOS doesn't have a map shown for those areas.
Normally the game logic prevents you from leaving Manoria Village earlier, however using Turbo Boost (especially at a high value) can make the game bypass certain script events and scene changes. I would not recommend that it be used for speedrunning as at this point the game's sequences are already out of order, adn by continuing, you can end up with the same kind of soft lock that has occurred for you. Essentially, the game is now broken.

It's good that the game has these quality-of-life functions, but at the end of the day, the game was never designed with them in the first place, so don't over do it.

This is in fact why the game defaults out-of-battle turbo to 2X. It is much less prone to this kind of sequence breakage.
