Some way to convert PSP save to PC version?
Hi. Last month i was traveling a long and played psp version of this great game. :)

I have both versions and was wondering can i continue to the pc version, which i find very beautiful on the big screen with game pad. I just can't play on handheld when i'm at home and it'll be shame to miss the rest of the game. Also i'm too far and doesn't have time to start from the beginning.

Found both save and the one on the psp is different size from that on the pc version. The save on the psp is a folder with 4 files (ICON0, PARAM.SF1,PIC1 and SAVEDATA(92,0 KB)) . Save file on the pc version is SVDAT001.SAV (207 KB (212,160 bytes))

Any help will be greatly appreciated. :)

It sadly isn't possible natively. The structure of the files is a bit different in several spots, and is ordered very differently. A converter might be theoretically possible, but I find it kind of unlikely as there are parts that are even different format between PSP and PC, as far as I'm aware. I originally considered doing this, and gave some attempts at doing this, but it didn't really work out well.

Thats too bad. I guess i have two choises here. Start PC version again after year or two when forget about these 35 hours gameplay or play the game on psp with long pauses when i travel.

Anyway, I learn my lesson not to played handheld games that can be played on the big screen. Or check for option about cross saves. Maybe i'll start the other legend of heroes game (cold steel) on steam till forget about that. Thanks for the answer. Saved me lots of trouble trying. :)

Another choice is to ask someone to share a PC version saved game with you from a point in the game where you left off at, then just load that onto your PC and pick up from there.

Thats not a bad idea at all. Do you have saves from the start of chapter 3? Or maybe someone else have? :)
