Do Quest Terms change?
Like when I hit a plot advancement trigger, will terms change from Long to Medium and from Medium to Short?

Yes, quest term is how long you have left to finish a side quest. You will fail short term quests when a plot advancement triggers

No, I know what the terms are. I'm just asking if they change depending on where in the story you are.

Yeah, it's an estimate of how far you can advance the plot before the quest fails. It will update appropriately as the plot advances.

If what you are wondering is , will they show you how much time it has left by going from "Long" to "medium" and then "short" , I dont think so. I might be wrong here but I don't think it changes.

It does; i've had several change from long to medium or medium to short.

Hmmm that is pretty interesting. Since I already have memorized all the quests in the sky trilogy , I only look at the small details just to make sure , I never noticed that.
Honestly more reason to love the games :D.
