Finishing move...

I dont get it.
I surround the boss with all five rangers, then what? how do i pull the finisher off?

I haven't played the game yet, but from what I've read you need to use the teamwork button for all except the last guy.

I got it... you have to surround the boss and then with 4 of them activate team up. with the fifth attack. The tutorial really didnt explain it like that.

That's right! You have to put everyone adjacent to the target, use Teamwork with four and attack with the last one for a melee Finishing Move. BUT you can also make a Finishing Move with weapons, if 1) Everyone's got one, 2) They're in range (the ones with ranged weapons don''t need to be adjacent to the monster, just in range of their weapons), 3) the weapon use is not on cooldown. Then it's the same thing; teamwork with four, then make a weapon attack with the last one. This is obviously stronger because the monster is shot with a EFFIN HUGE LASER CANNON!

LOL thats awesome. This game is cool, its a ranger tactical rpg i didnt know i needed. good stuff. thanks for making the game.

This game IS amazing, and I too thank you for making it!

I do want to make an important additional note to how to perform a Finishing Move.

The team has to be "Chromatized" before a Finishing Move can be successfully performed.

I had to (frustrastingly) complete the first mission 3 times, before I was able to meet all objectives.
(Needing to be Chromatized in order to perform a Finishing Move is not mentioned in the Tutorial, as the team is already Chromatized during it)

just tried it. 4 people used teamwork. last one attacked the boss. It counted as a combo attack not a finisher..

I wish the actual tutorial portion was as clear as this. Too bad I already finished it. :-/
This and the teamwork attack were not really explained properly in the tutorial.

I had trouble fulfilling the director's achievement on the second level(Boxing boxer box?) I realised my team finishing wasn't getting the results I wanted after lots of attempts. What you need to do is morph the rangers and then do the team finisher. Oh this game is awesome! Why I didn't see this on Kickstarters I don't know

Yeah, the tutorial should have forced you to use the teamwork button and understand it. I was halfway through Season 1 before I realized how to correctly do team acrobatics and team combos. Condisering its effectivly a point and click game it is surprisingly easy to miss out on some of the controls.
