If INFRA can get true global illumination to replace the Source 1 baked lighting effects, I have no doubt that it will be one of the prettiest games of all time
As for adjusting the directx version via start parameter, the source engine branch used for this game (2013 branch iirc) doesnt support direct x 7 or 8, so the command used in hl2/portal doesnt work.
