Fix the water treatment plant?

I'm at the water treatment plant and cannot for the life of me figure out how to increase the pH of the water.

Nope, didn't know there even was a hatch. The minitrain is the thing you have to move to progress to the next level, right?

Ahhh that was easy to miss, seems to have worked and i got the sound showing i fixed something, but i thought i would have gotten the achievement too. I assume it has to do with the exclamation point spot but i can't seem to be able to get rid of that error

seems that you emptied the sewer to the flocculation pool

I'm not sure if the line from raw water to filtration should be open. Also emptying sewer to flucculation may have "caused permament" damage

Hmmm, i reset the level and did everything how i should, including not emptying the sewer to the flocculation pool and it didnt do anything differently. Not sure what the trigger is to remove the error

I can't quite remember the correct solution at the time, but there's already some people who managed to get the achievement, i'll hope some of them helps you soon.

What I got:




Flocculation: turn off the 4 pumps, turn on flocculation if it was off.

Coagulation (near the top): open raw water to coagulation valve, leave the other one.

Raw Water: Leave the 4 pumps on, turn Sewer Pipe 2/Flocculation valve open, replace missing valve in shed, turn it and hit the button.

Floor hatch: open the valve for Flocculation/Sedimentation, leave the other one closed.

Sedimentation: Turn the valve that's closed shut. Look for the one with the red light.

I saved coagulation for last after trial and error and I got the chime with character going "That should do it"

Though not sure if that's right or a bug because nothing changed outside of no longer have a low ph in the water.

Achievement unlocked after finding one more thing:

Climb down the ladder on the catwalks in Flocculation, go around the concrete overhang to go up another ladder into a crawl space where sewer pipe 3 and Flocculation pool valves are. Open sewer pipe 3 and character line and chime repeats. Then I got the "Reserve" achievement.

My first thought was to fill up the Raw water pool (the one with the boat), but apparently that does nothing. The solution is crazy, this is the only puzzle in the game I can't figure out how to do without looking at a how-to.

The written notes in the control room tell you what order the operations need to occur in. From that it's just a matter of ensuring the correct valves are open/closed so the water flows through those steps in the correct order.

Basically, you don't want sewage in the water, and you don't want the contaminated collapsed tunnel water coming in either. There is a reserve water supply at the top of the screen. 8-)
