There are 3 endings, 1 bad ending, and 1 secret ending. 3 main endings have % conditions for triggering. Worst one is less than 50% of photos in all 3 acts, Normal one is at least 50% of photos in at least one of the acts, Best one is only when you get over 90% of photos in all 3 acts.
Other than that, uncovering everything is just for your personal understanding of the story and satisfaction of finding every dangerous disrepair in the city.
Guides should be your last resort for unlocking harder achievements or finding last missing pieces of the damage or story. I used them on my second playthrough and I regret that a little, If I were to discover Infra again, I would try beating Infra at least 2 without any help.
Also, parts of the game work out differently depending on what you did earlier in the game. You can't see everything that might be mentioned in the newscast in one playthrough, because some parts replace other parts. If you return the duck, only an idiot would feel the need to break the bank on the machine. Etc. etc..
As oku says above, relax, play the game, and enjoy it.
Yeah it's just a mental trap man. I can't put my finger on why this game gives me that feeling but some others don't. I'm trying to overcome it; helpful responses given here

which has details on much of the mythos of the game, the cyphers, the paths and areas you may never find, etc.. The second is that there's a public Discord server (just search for 'infra' in the Discord search area) where every little detail of the game, including elements we don't understand yet, is endlessly rehashed and rediscussed, with very little progress. Everything that is figured out there ends up in the Wiki anyway.
These both contain huge spoilers for the game.
