Liminal spaces?
This may be just me, but does anyone else find certain levels in INFRA strangely familiar? Almost in a comforting way sometimes.

Yes, I agree. I like the area around the Hacker's Den. The empty benches by the water.

I don't remember the chapter number but it's maybe 3/4 the way through. The walk along the river before crossing the bridge while the sun was setting really got to me. There were a number of areas where I just stopped to take in the scenery but that section on the riverbank had a beautiful, melancholy atmosphere. A gorgeous sunset; too bad all hell is breaking loose, I'm exhausted from walking all day and picking myself out of rubble, and I'm nowhere close to being done.

Chapter 8, I believe. Castle Rock Bay is probably the prettiest area in the game.

In a lot of places for me, tho when you finally return to the city, it feels so... empty. The train stations also had that sort of appeal, and the power/water plants. Anywhere you knew people SHOULD be working, and yet were totally devoid of people....
