Are there any other horror elements besides the "???" achievement?

I usually find abandoned places scary enough by themselves, specially in videogames (in fact I was terrified my whole playthrough of Gone Home thinking there could be something in that house). You know, in real life you can be quite sure you won't be comming across some ghosts or something, but in videogames you can never be truly sure.

I'm talking about this because the only thing that kept me going through this game, as terrifying as it may seem to me, is that I was quite sure there couldn't possibly be anything scary here, at all. And then I got to the water treatment area in part one... and being frankly, I didn't find *that thing* myself, but when I finished the level, I kept wondering "hold on, didn't I missed a puzzle back there?" and it turned out I almost got the "???" achievement myself (I had found the key and the red fuse already, so the only thing I didn't find was the code). So since then I find quite hard to keep playing, because the places look as terrifying as before but know I cant say to myself "don't worry, everything will be fine" specially being as completionists as I am.

So are there any other scary elements in this game? I've heard something about a coffee machine. I can handle that if I am warned, but I want to be sure I won't be seeing ANYTHING horror-ish the rest of the time. And I know some of you love the horror element, I also enjoy and love horror games sometime. It's just that I was playing INFRA in a relaxed non-horror way, to relieve everyday stress (the landscapes are beautiful), and it suddenly turned into a REALLY different type of game I'm not interested to play right now.

No you will be fine. The coffee machine and the green mushrooms can cause hallucinations which can be a bit creepy but they pass quickly. Some weird graffiti is on display but there won't be any ax wielding characters here to ruin your fun. The places are abandoned and some are in terrible conditions so you need to watch your step.

Take your time to explore and when feelings of uneasiness creep in, take a break and come back the next day.

Theres a mannequin in a blocked off tunnel in chapter 7 (stormdrain) that scared me when i saw it, also, around chapter 3 or 4 in the old hydro plant in the old appartment taken over by plants theres a scary painting in the bathroom and the games a noiss when you see it. (Actually scared me)

You mean the bucket-head thing as mannequin, behind the bars? I always wanted to get to it :).

That's the creature I talk about, it appears by obtaining the "???" achievement

That coffee machine isn't horror, that thing is torture. I think I was to the point of pulling my hair out trying to get that achievement. :( - Can't recall how many times I died trying to get the 3 mixes for the coffee.

Morko does exist, but you have to be seriously careless to run into him / it.
As far as I know, anyway...

From my knowledge of the game the scariest thing other than ??? is if you drink the psychadelic coffee near the end of part 2. Part 3 has some creepy breathing sounds, and sometimes the stuff like the mannequin can make you jump if you're on edge, but I think that's it.
