Block and Reroll
I think we do need more blocks and reroll for each tems. With so many techniques and gears it becomes harder to choose for a certain build.

As for Reroll, it should not reroll the same shown technique or gear that was present before the reroll. Block should not consume a level. When a block it used, you don't get to choose a skill, so you are basically wasting a turn to block a skill.

I agree with both block should not cost a level, and needing more of both. I also wouldn't mind a system that made it so it increases the chance of the synergy you need to show up in the options upon level up if you already have either the gear or skill equipped. not saying to make it super high, but have it so their a greater chance of it appearing

especially when they start adding the rest of the skill/gear and tems the pool will get very large.

I like this summary a lot - well put.

I'm actually fine with 'Block' having a cost/level, but 'Block' shouldn't be NEEDED to find the abilities you want, it should be a costly luxury at narrowing it down even further for the most powerful builds at the lowest levels.

If the system is like this already, I'm really wary of what will happen when the other half of the skill tree opens up and there are twice as many options lol.

Just like the re-roll, you choose the option in your selection when you level up and whichever technique/gear you choose to block is blocked from re-appearing in the choices for the rest of the run.

I completely agree.

One of the ideas I had was rather than having a limited number of rerolls/blocks, have them cost Pansuns. Then from there increase the amount of Pansuns you get in a run while also changing the nodes to decrease the Pansun cost when re-rolling/blocking.

Other idea I had was making a general skill tree so that all the Tems can re-roll/block the same amount of times. Also add crit/exp/pansuns to that tree so that TemTem skill trees completely focus on enhancing them exclusively.

Block should not skip a level and rerolls should legit give new options. I have spent hours fishing to finish leveling weapons up, going game after game and not getting a gear to go with a technique. Even waiting till end game where I got every weapon maxed, 3 gears maxed and a full row of 4 gears to choose form on level up. Hit reroll and get the same 4 gears in a different order. It's lame.

Once you purchased it from the tems skill tree, you can use it on the tech/gear selection. There will be an option at the bottom to BLOCK a gear/tech from appearing again.

Would be much better if there was a system for meta choices like rerolls, etc. Boneraiser minions did an amazing job with meta currency.

I wholeheartedly agree with block not costing a level. However, I think that reroll should pull from all the options available, even potentially rerolling the same exact options you currently have. If reroll doesn't produce from the same pool, then reroll effectively becomes a temporary block.

I do think that block not taking a level would solve this issue, though. You could block something, and then reroll.

Big thing I would like, is using block feels like a waste as you can't bock a skill/item and then pick another like you can in other games like this.

Block not getting rid of the selection would make it much worse imo. I mostly use it at the end, if everything is already leveled and i just need a specific thing to spawn. As of now, getting rid of the selection just leaves me with 3 new rolls i can pick from. Now you could argue, that blocking early would be valuable, since you've now more time to roll other stuff, but i personally don't really like to do that, if most of the drops are about leveling up stuff i've already picked anyway.

Though with the reroll more would definitely help, especially if the new selection can have the old stuff again.

Do Block removed the skills for that game? Because when i block some skills i still see the same skills that i block before in the same game

Block does remove the one that you select, not all the skills shown.

Agreed. Got a pegipig(?) to lvl 66 trying to get Tornado+, had Tornado, just needed the gear. Gear refused to show up the entire time.
