This could have been easily the top Game in this Genre for me. Yet the absurdly insane amount of grinding is just crazy..why not have a basic skill tree for pansun, xp, armor, health, revive, dodge chance etc that every tem gets and then if you really want specific unlocks for each tem just do techs, type specific damage etc..Aand who thougt its a good idea to make prestige-tems base lvl weak again (on top of only being able to farm with this specific tem to upgrade the tree again, so you cant even use an upgraded tem to farm the tree?) If i grind for over 20 hours or smth for a tem to be upgraded it feels really bad, for it to be without dash/health/techs etc again and start all over..i hate leaving bad reviews and this one hurts especially, because this has so much potential, but currently this game feels like punishment instead of fun for a few runs

TL;DR: Lacking QoL features like showing informations on items whilst having item pollution for picks up, meta-progression feeling like a counter-point due to bad techniques and gears provided during level... defensives feeling like it was added just because they seem to have needed to add defensives to the game, making offensive techniques that much better...

Really wouldn't recommend Temtem: Swarm, initially it feels polished, responsive, and nice to play, but the further you get into the game, the more you realise that the game is set up in a rudementary way... the further you get into the game, the worse it gets.

For example, you unlock more meta-progression, which is nice... only to get a bigger downside of techniques and gears, both of which are horribly managed... for example, getting defensive techniques are nigh useless, and just generally better to get offensive techniques... because the slower you kill, the more enemies that come... the less useful your defensives will be... thus making the meta-progression feel like a counter-point to your progression...

Generally speaking... there really should just be a shared meta-progression tree... instead of giving each temtem their own skill tree... with the same extra skill tree upgrades... like the pickup distance, rerolls, snooze, and banning techniques and gears... it's all just a grind for what you basically did on your initial temtem.

Lastly... the game is so hesitant about giving information to the player... like the total damage of a skill, synergies for the current selected gears and techniques... unless you're on the level up screen...general lack of information for items, and how frequent items drops... the worst items being... an individual pickup for both meta-progression currency and experience points... why have two types of map-wide pickups...? It's just an item pollution just for the sake of it...
