Bug: Event stuck and no more level ups

Just completed a 3-person co-op game where I was blue, playing Innki. About 11 minutes into the game, we did the Acid Rain group event. When the event started, I could not see the event circle or the red circles indicating where acid rain was landing. We completed the event and I tried picking up the chest, but the rewards screen did not pop up. From that point on, I would level up but the level up screen to choose an ability would not pop up. Additionally, I would stand on a circle to initiate an event and it the event would not start.

The Acid Rain event showed 00:00 in the bottom left of the screen for the remainder of the game.

I, too, had this problem in a 3 and 2 players run.

As Wympy said that purple circle and the red ones does not show on the map, the ones that we lost did not cause the bug, but the ones we managed to won followings my friends tem came with the bug that the OP is talking about.

I could pick up the chest, but nothing will come out of it. After that everything was bugged. I could not choose a reward each level, I was level 37 and my friend told me that he was seeing me as a lvl 26 (the same level I was when I bugged out), when the game finished the achievement count but the end game screen said that I was the level my friend was seeing me be (he was hosting). Also we werent able to participate in any event that requiered both of us to activate the circle.

I have another instance of the same bug but I could not pick up the chest (after the lava event) and that game I did not bug out, I was still able to participate in the following events.

Hi! Thanks so so much for adding extra information. The team is trying to reproduce the issue internally without much luck, so if this happens again, could you please provide us with your videos and logs? You can upload these to youtube and pastebin respectively, but you can also send them to Tsukkiakai on Discord (me) as it's simpler and faster!
One great way to get videos is to activate Steam's background recording, if your pc specs allow it.

The team is trying to reproduce the issue internally without much luck, so if this happens again, could you please provide us with your videos and logs? I had the same issue today while playing 2 people coop. Both times it bugged out as soon as Acid Rain Event ends (one at 00:00sec, the other at 00:01sec)
Sadly i didnt make a video but here is a screenshot:

You can see that the notification of the event doesnt go away aswell, so the game probably thinks i am still in the event.
Which leads to the following problems:
- You can't activate any events on your own (only others in your team can activate events, group events dont work anymore)
- You can't take chests at all
- Some events like Acid rain dont work properly (you cant see the acid rain AOE, but still the event circle)

But i think i was able to level up and choose skills....
