can't hatch egg

Am I missing something? "To capture this tem, complete the spot at the 3 minute mark." After I collect the egg at the spot at the 3 minute mark, there's nothing to complete. I'm just stuck dragging the egg around while I'm getting swarmed by endgame numbers of enemies and it's impossible to keep the egg alive.

There's a timer in the upper left corner below your xp bar. You have to keep the egg alive for that time

That timer needs heavily dropped down. 5 Minutes for an egg is ridiculous.

i just went back and hatched them on the first beginner map as mobs don't hit as hard, and barley scratched the egg. i do think the hatching time should be halved personally.

The timer is too dang long. You never have enough damage or AoE to clear anything. You're stuck trying to run which still doesn't matter since egg is still getting damaged. Awful change. lOwer the timer should help but its soo bad right now.

Can agree egg hatch timer is far too long. Would like to see a change to this as well.

2min. That feels like it would be fine. 5min? That's 1/4 of the total match. It feels like it drags on forever.

My method of hatching eggs is doing it in the first map, finding a corner closest to where I picked up the egg, putting my back to it, and just sitting there and letting my aoes kill stuff that comes in. Egg takes no damage.

But agreed on it should be shorter. 5 minutes is way too long.

i mean, they are designed to be unlocked with your best character. when i did it i didnt even lose 1/4 health bar

It'd like to come in here and be like "Having the dodge really helps" but like 99% of the character power is locked behind playing the game a lot... Which is really BAFFLING design. Something as integral as a DODGE/DASH being locked behind a specific pal which is locked behind arbitrary numbers is so insane to me.
