Carnal is the Nightborn Entitlement concerning the Power over Flesh. The Nightborn Lineages with Carnal in their Inheritance are the Lamia, Bruxo, Barabbas, and Carmilla. Carnal’s Legacies are Brutality, Glamour, and Hemoturgy, Carnal’s Magic.

Brutality enhances the Nightborn’s physicality far beyond natural limits. Supernatural empowerment can manifest in various ways, including unnatural strength, unyielding endurance, and a menacing aura. Brutality powers are useful for crowd control, intimidating others, and hand-to-hand combat.

1. Brawn – Muscles flex and bulge, increasing social intimidation and melee/brawl damage.

2. Smash – A heavy attack that can destroy objects such as a locked door, making a loud sound which may alert others.

3. Charge – Knock back opponents where you run as momentum greatly increases.

4. Shockwave – Smash ground causing an Area of Effect Knockback.

5. Pulverize – A massive strike which ignores armor with possible stun as you pound hit targets into the ground.

Glamour allows a Nightborn to manipulate others’ emotions, implant new notions, and enhance desires. The feelings seem real to the victim, though an outside observer may think the change in behavior seems out-of-place. Glamour powers are fleeting and fade after some time. Glamour includes powers influencing lust, anger, and social outcomes.

1. Charm – A Target will see you are friendly, regardless of actual temperament.

2. Tempt – A Target move towards your current location whether is sees you or not, as it gets a feeling it should investigate.

3. Devotion – A Target becomes allied to you, fighting enemies and protecting you with their life.

4. Glory – A wide Area of Effect Stun as all who gaze upon you must fall to their knees in worship.

5. Riot – Rioters appear and start attacking randomly. Enhanced if you control your own Cult.

Hemoturgy is Carnal’s Magical Legacy. Magical Legacies require both blood costs and consume a spell component item. Hemoturgy’s spell component is Crimson Candles. Hemoturgy spells control blood, create wards against the Supernatural, and heal the caster. Hemoturgy is sometimes referred to as Sacrificial Magic, Blood Rituals, or Abjuration.

1. Syphon – Syphon the blood from a target at a range, bleeding them while slowly filling the caster’s blood meter.

2. Trap – Etch Blood Runes on the ground. When a Supernatural moves over them, they become bound to the spot until the runes fade.

3. Surge – Blood splashes over the caster, fully healing their body and removing negative statue effects.

4. Ward – Create a circle of protection made from blood on the floor. Hostile Supernaturals can’t enter the protected space until the line fades.

5. Blood Ocean – Syphon the blood from all viable targets present, bleeding them while rapidly filling the caster’s blood meter.

Eternity is the Nightborn Entitlement concerning the Power over Time. The Nightborn Lineages with Eternity in their Inheritance are the Strix, Marra, Barabbas, and Ruthven. Eternity’s Legacies are Alacrity, Epoch, and Necromancy, Eternity’s Magic.

Alacrity enhances the Nightborn’s speed far beyond natural limits. Supernatural quickness can manifest in various ways, including unparalleled mobility, impossible precision, and rapidly striking enemies. Alacrity powers are useful for traversal, strategic positioning, and armed combat.

1. Dash – The Vampire’s run speed is greatly enhanced, allowing for a daring charge into battle, a hasty retreat, and/or rapid transit.

2. Steady Aim – Enhanced manual dexterity results in reduced ranged weapon sway and faster recovery after melee swings.

3. Blink – Charge forward to instantly move to a location, potentially unseen.

4. Precision – Melee strikes add a bleed effect and hitting weak points with a ranged weapon, such as a headshot, does massive damage.

5. Multi-Strike – A massive melee combo, jumping from enemy to enemy striking is quick secession.

Epoch allows a Nightborn to perceive the threads of fate and the flow of time. The past, present, and future may seem to be simultaneous to the Inheritor of this Entitlement. Epoch includes powers over prophesy, hindsight, and time manipulation. Epoch is useful both in combat and solving puzzles.

1. Portent – Activate to see important clues or weak points on enemies.

2. Freeze – Touch a target to give them a literal time-out, stunning them for a limited period.

3. Time Warp – Slow time temporarily affecting the user less than the rest of the world.

4. Prophesy – Reveal enemy motives and material/tactical weakness, usable in dialogue.

5. Rewind – Reverse time for a convenient do-over.

Necromancy is Eternity’s Magical Legacy. Magical Legacies require both blood costs and consume a spell component item. Necromancy’s spell component is Ghost Salt. Necromancy spells drain life force, raise the dead, and deal with death energies. Necromancy  is sometimes referred to as Death Magic, Resurrectionism, or Occultism.

1. Drain Breath – Feed from the soul of the target, draining life force damaging the target while the caster heals.

2. Raise Dead – Bestow unlife to a corpse which will serve and remain animated until destroyed by force or the sunrise.

3. Wither – Cast forth a bolt of shadow and bale flame dealing massive damage to a living target.

4. Haunt – Conjure a ghost of an unfortunate soul who died nearby to terrorize all in the area (causing fear), for eternity or until exercised.

5. Soul Feast – Drain life from all within range, refilling caster’s health pool, and killing all mortals present.
