Does anyone know how long this game took to develop?
Both the original and the new one? Does anyone know the timeline of when the devs started it and ended it?

i'm guessing it took like 6 months and for dlcs - a few weeks or so...

I don't know the complete timeline but here is some of it.

September 28, 2011: Original Binding of Isaac released.
October 31, 2011: Sheol, Satan, Eve, and bunch of new items/enemies added.
December, 2011: Krampus and the Lump of Coal added.
January, 2012: Wrath of the Lamb DLC announced.
<5 month development gap>
May 28, 2012: Wrath of the Lamb released.
November, 2012: Rebirth announced.
<2 year development gap>
November 4, 2014: Rebirth released.

well damn uh, i was planning on making a 2d game with flash but i never knew it would take 2 years to make a small game. deadline is a few months for me

it's mostly art and physics that take the most time.
