Pretty much, but I feel like the golden door has something to do with Dad, I mean there's no mums key, but there is a dads key.
Mega Satan is behind that door.
Also in the chest ending Isaac's mom comes at someone with a knife to protect him, as referenced by the photographs. In the lamb ending she's searching for him. I think Isaac is his own worst enemy at the detriment to his mom.
Show me a pic? I haven't encountered nor heard of a Mum's key. Unless you mean the boss key which gives you 2 keys and increases golden key chances.

Just my 2 cents.
His dad is the key to all his problems, the key allowing him to go anywhere and escape or get into anything. Problems? Root seems to be his dad. His dad would also be his answer to things, which would easily explain why it lets him get into or out of wherever, even if it's bad, because the possibility of using that escape or solution in a negative way and whatnot.
Well thats just my two sense of it, ive had theories about isaac for a long time and with rebirth, it just seems to cement them even more.
