is it annoying? yes
- half of the challenges
- dailies
- doing Victory Laps for achievements
- breaking the game to fill item collection
- normal run with a busted build where I just 'hold W' for 15m
That's not true. He told you to not farm with a single character because that increase the chance of machine to jam. I saw a lot of people complaining about the machine jamming too fast and they were just farming with Lilith for example, it's not a wide known fact.
Honestly, you don't even need to farm Greed mode to fill up the machine, doing one run with each character is way more than enough. First just do the regular Greed mode with easier characters until you have 500 coins and unlock Greedier, then do Greedier once with everyone (that's required to do anyway). You'll have 1000 coins way before you complete it with everyone. I usually can put between 50-100 coins per Greedier run, without breaking the run nor keeping much money on purpose.
Only advice I can give is to reset until you have a Tears up or Dmg up in first floor, you don't need much else. Also for a lot of chars it's a good idea to NOT go in the first DD so you can have an Angel room the next floor instead.
Greedier? Yes. but you want to start off with a good shop item, or a free key + decent treasure room.
Starting Greedier without a good item can be a pain in the butt because you'll be swarmed quite easily. Breaking Greedier loses its charm rather quick, and I save those 1+ hour game break runs for "challenge" characters, such as (Tainted) Lost, Tainted Eve, etc.
