What have they done to Fandom Wiki?
Isaac's Fandom Wiki has changed the layout somehow (at least the big "Popular pages" sidebar is new) and the actual article is so narrow now with my 13'' display.. I can't even find any way to hide the sidebar..

there's an "Expand" button on the top left of the page that rescales it

You can hide the bar to the right

If you have an account you can change it back to the old appearance under the preference options.
Another stupid fandom site change. Not just Isaac fandom.

That's fandoms for you. They :fluorine: stuff up all the time. Be it site changes like this or the fans becoming way to toxic (that has killed a few famdoms, and with that shows for me)

I meant Fandom as a host. Not fandoms in general.

Unfortunately this doesn't help me get rid of the side bar and like Lucifer said, it only makes it a tiny bit wider. Plus, when I go to another page, I have to "expand" again..

Guess I have to make an account then.

Otherwise I find that the Isaac Fandom cite is very well done, organized and updated. Way easier to use than many others.

Yeah this worked, thank you! (Account > My preferences > Appearance > Hide right rail)

Thanks for the fix.

I get why the wiki devs did this. The wiki devs want you to see there is a whole world of wikis to explore, not just this one random one you seem to be obsessively visiting...but I don't care.

For me the issue wasn't that left narrow sidebar about other wikis. It was that wide right sidebar "Popular pages" about most used pages on the Isaac wiki..

I had the same problem but if you go to your profile and go to your preferences, you can go appearance and select hydra dark. That changes it back to normal

If you install the browser addon "uBlock Origin", then click on the uBlock icon in your browser, and then settings, under "My filters", you can add these lines...
The first line kills that popular pages thing on the side, the second line removes that spam at the bottom of the page. The third removes that bar floating on the bottom of the screen. That should do it for all fandom pages, not just the Isaac one.

Oh and uBlock Origin's main function is blocking ads and trackers. It's open source.

For anyone who stumbles upon this in google, the new (January 2022) way of blocking the navigation bar in uBlock origin is the create a line with:

fandom.com##.global-navigation

in "my filters"
