I strongly recommend mods to work out the rough edges of the game. There is a couple good T.Laz mods that make him a fun character. Same with T.Jacob. Not to mention all the other great mods that just add a ton of good stuff to the game. Every day before I play, I look at the new mods released overnight and maybe pick one or two. Right now I'm sitting at close to 200 mods installed. It really gives the game a constantly evolving feel and goes a long way to keep things interesting.
