Glowing hourglass

I am currently grinding for the glowing hourglass on a greed run. I am on the shop floor but all I am getting is breakfast. I have infinite money but it doesn't matter how much breakfast I buy new items just won't appear.

So my question is: Is the glowing hourglass still somewhere in the sea of breakfast. I have not seen it yet or picked it up. Does it even appear in greed mode?

After spending 1 hour with isaac rerolling items in shop looking for Glowing hourglass then resetting, 1 hour with cain checking first floor treasure rooms for Glowing hourglass then resetting, and 2+ hours on multiple breaking runs rerolling rooms full of breakfasts and opening hundreds of golden chests with a D20 (both with Chaos, and without) I STILL didn't find the Glowing hourglass.

I just said ♥♥♥♥ it and downloaded a save file from modding of isaac subreddit that had a full donation machine.

It does appear but after A LOT D20 reroll and even if you able to get it, you can only donate 1 coin after your first donation

I've also never seen brimstone in a devil room not even once in over 100 runs.

I've seen at least a few of those, including gnawed leaf and daddy long legs (unfortunately not in the same run). And I got epic fetus in an item room once.

If you don`t mind data mining, by studying the xml documents in afterbirth .a files it results in this:
Brimstone, Glowing Hourglass, Money=Power and stopwatch are nowhere to find in Greed mode, unless breaking the item pool.
Gnawed Leaf, IPECAC, Daddy long legs, Inner Eye, Chocolate Milk, Dr Fetus and Epic Fetus can be found in treasure rooms in Greed mode.
Oddly enough, Godhead can appear in not only angel rooms but normal treasure rooms as well in Greed mode.

actually, I'll admit i did just find monstro's lung and gnawed leaf in greed mode today.
all those other ones, I assumed they were not in there because on 3 separate occasions, I borke the game with the d6 and rerolled and rerolled until only breakfasts came u and never saw any of the items on that list

I had Chaos...
Just grinded out constant rerolls and shop items over 100 minutes, didn't get either of the hourglasses.

I have found most of the items people are listing in Greed mode.

The way the game works, you will never find every item in any single run. It selects a handful for each pool (shop, treasure, devil, etc), and these are the ones that will show up for that run. If you farm every item, you might not ever get the Stopwatch, for example, because it isn't in the pool to begin with.

On the next run, it could be.

I think the reason items like brimstone and stopwatch aren't showing up is because they are special items, and they are getting rerolled before they even show up. (check out wiki entry about special items)

After four and a half hours (total) I did manage to get glowing hourglass in greed mode (and many other items on your list of unobtainable items). The key for getting glowing hourglass is DO NOT pick up chaos. I used a d20 + battery in shop to reroll all gold drops from greed waves, until I had ~13 item pedistals on the ground from golden chests (make sure to pickup and put back down any space bar items to prevent them from showing up again [leave passive items on the pedistal]). As I was doing this I used all my gold to buy items in the shop until I found blank card and a perthro, then I just started rerolling all the item pedistals, and after 5 or so rerolls the glowing hourglass showed up.
