Good items on lilith?

I currently am looking to play as lilith as she is one of my lesser player characters currently and so I can get some unlocks on her however I am unsure of what good synergies she has. I know she benefits off familars and moms knife is weak on her however I was wondering about other items as well. Perhaps a list would be useful if you can :p thanks.

on my best lilith run I picked up brimstone and then tammys head and said **** YOU BOX OF FRIENDS and proceeded to one shot every room in the game

old standby stuff still works as lilith, and is frankly about 100x easier than trying to do a familiar run

hmm intresting guys :3 what do you mean by standby stuff though. You mean space bar items?

He means stuff that is always massively overpowered.

I didn't see anyone mention it, but Nun's Habit is quite good with Lillith as well.

- Incubus copies ALMOST EVERY effect & attribute your own tears (if any) should have, so Lilith benefits from any attack/range/tear-modifying items just like other characters do.

- However these items listed are less effective or even counterproductive when picked by Lilith:
-Mom`s Knife: As you said.
-Dr.Fetus: The blast radius does not seem to be affected but the bombs are visually very small,making aiming more difficult.
-Items that you don`t want as a character using regular tears (there are some exceptions though)
-Mom`s Eye, Loki`s Horn Dead eye and Tech 0.5: Won`t work with Incubus. These items are "activated by shooting" rather than tear modifiers therefore will only trigger by the character`s own shooting, not Incubus` shooting.
-Mongo Baby: Won`t copy Incubus` attack.
-Issac`s head and ???`s soul (Trinket): Won`t be duplicated by Box of Friends.

-These items have somewhat synergies with Incubus:
-Ludovico Technique: Lilith controls a huge tear like other characters with Ludo does, while Incubus fires piercing & spectral tears.
-Epic Fetus: Lilith throws missiles like other characters with Epic Fetus does, while Incubus fires normal tears.
-Number One: Incubus has increased fire rate without decreasing on range.The reason is Number One actually decreases the shot height rather than range, and Incubus` shot height is unaffected.
-BFFS: Doubles Incubus` attack, effectively doubles your damage output with no downside.
-Child Leash(Trinket): Making aiming much easier.

-When taking and purchasing items, remember these:
-While all your familiars benefit from Box of Friends, not all familiars are valuable to Lilith. Most shooting familiar are much less powerful than chasing familiars. Advised offensive familiars are listed here.

-another Incubus (Lilith`s initial Incubus is not counted as an item, therefore it is possible to find an Incubus in Devil room. Note that using BoF will only add one Incubus even if you purchased the second one)
-Demon Baby
-Lil` Brimstone
-Fate`s reward
-Seraphim
-Little Gish (mainly for his slowing effect)
-Lil` Haunt
-Smart Fly
-Daddy Longleg
-Bob`s Brain (Don`t hesitate picking it up. Aiming with brain is much easier and backfires less in Afterbirth than Rebirth as the brain will start flying from the point it currently is,rather than from your face. On top of that it can be combined with Mr.Mega and other Bomb enchantments)
-???`s only friend

-Lilith does benefit from battery-based items,but not of all aspects. Battery baby might be the best as it get duplicated by BoF, allowing for a easy Hush fight. Sharp plug is almost useless since it is likely to be unworthy to trade 2 hearts with a temporary buff (unless you`ve got Wafer). 9 Volt won`t help you in tense fights, only make runs quicker. The Battery,in contrast,allows for easier boss fight but take much time to recharge. Habit is quite ineffective in Hard mode as you won`t get enough heart pickups.
-Cambion conception gives you a free familiar after being hit for a number.....but the number is freaking 15. That means you need to lose at least 7.5 hearts. Considering the extremely small drop rate of hearts, Cambion conception is totally not reliable when playing hard mode. If you are still interested in it, try to find more red heart containers, and then hope to find methods to exploit blood donation machines.

Familiars yes but not all, you should skip the weak ones (Sister Maggy, Brother Bobby and Ghost Baby), even having 10 of them is not too much damage and they only make it harder to land the strong shots from Incubus (due to the order in the line)
The Child leash trinket is very good as well, and I guess Spear of Destiny is a good alternative damage that should be allowed as Lilith
Maw of Void is not useful for the brimstone ring but still gives a damage up

I've picked up Spear of Destiny with Lillith and it did absolutely nothing, that and Maw of the Void made me a sad panda

I will go against conventional wisdom and say that most trailing baby familiars are a bad idea for Lilith.

The reason being, when you use the box of friends it reverses the order of your familiars as it tacks them onto the chain for some reason. So if you have (Incubus) (Maggy) (Bobby) (Ghost baby) and use the box, it becomes (Lilith) (I) (M) (B) (G) (G) (B) (M) (I) and your two major damage-dealing familiars are separated enough that it's nigh impossible to get them both firing at the same target.

Free-floating familiars like leech and lil' haunt are still good, and lil' brimstone and rotten baby are good enough that they're worth taking anyway. But I would rather have a wall of Incubi in boss rush or greed mode than a mile long trail of familiars with a bunch of filler adding 3.5dps each.

Oh, another thing worth mentioning - I've found a bug where saving and exiting while playing Lilith with a collection of familliars reverses their order when you load the game. It's really frustrating trying to fire with incubus all the way at tne end of the line.

haha yeah guys thanks for the information :p might have to look towards getting the epic fetus and perhaps some more challenges as I have only beaten wakka wakka and demo man. Is the family man a hard challenge though?

Anything that improves your tears normally (20/20, dmg ups...)

Habit

The battery familiar (can charge and drops batteries to use BoF multiple times mid-bossfight) for perspecitve I will post a screenshot to show what happens when you have that in boss rush. Use BoF now you have 2 battery familiars. More batteries = more battery familiars = more batteries..... it gets crazy

Brimstone is great, especially with lil brimstone and car battery :) Using spacebar gives you 6 brimstones

If you have cambion conception unlocked you will spawn a familiar after 15 times of taking dmg (I think that is what triggers it but it might be 15 hearts) so any opportunity you have to pick up extra health and use a blood bank or demon beggar can help you significantly.

I think homing shots is good because when you iterate your babies like 5 times it is hard to manage all of the shots.

I guess I don't have a shot from Boss rush but here is greed mode with battery familiar. And this is not extreme at all. I had over 40 iterations on one boss rush yesterday.... as in 20 spacebars with car battery.
