Help! Can't decide between two Items <.>

Right now, I've got Dr. Fetus as my weapon and I have a choice between Cricket's body and this wierd skin-colored mushroom that has a crooked stem

I guess you're talking about the Odd Mushroom (Thin). Not sure Cricket's Body actually works with Dr. Fetus (since there's an item called Cluster Bombs doing that effects with bombs that synergizes with Dr. Fetus). Odd Mushroom (Thin) on the other hand would reduce your damage to let you shoot bombs out more often, but that's pretty risky since having multiple bombs on the field that won't explode at the same time usually end up in one bomb being knocked back to you by the other one.

I just checked on the Wiki and I hope he/she didn't take Cricket's Body. Apparently it simply reduces your range by a lot without splitting the bombs.
