The real reason the online beta was shut down

Pretty ironic that people don't want to help but just want to be able to play online. I suppose Greed mode works after all :)
Could've just backed up the game with the beta installed a day before it was removed and just keep playing afterwards but apparently that's too much of brain exercise for some people to the point where they try to mod the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game to get around it...

Greedier wasn't even that bad. The few games I got to play were a blast. Especially when we had tainted keepers and tainted isaac's in our game.
Ah well.

What information they told Edmund seems like over-exaggerated ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I played the beta as intended and I am sure there are plenty of people like me as well. Not everyone is a data-miner who is willing to modify spaghetti source code.

I think Tyrone threw a man-child-level, over-reactionary temper tantrum, and he is lying and exaggerating the impact to Edmund as a poor attempt at trying to disperse a frustrated player-base.

By next year, I will probably double my hours in Isaac, and I know I have provided them with tons of free data, as I'm sure the rest of you have too. They act like they are doing us a favour with the beta testing, but we are the ones doing them a favour by providing countless amounts of free data and feedback.

By the way, who is this 'everyone' who knew about the data mining and different modes? I certainly did not and I also would not have cared. I am sure I am not alone in any of this. They hadn't even announced their Isaac beta in Steam. I only found out because I had been looking forward to it, so I would regularly search online for beta codes. This imaginary 'everyone' was probably not even statistically significant.

Tyrone is being childish petty prick. The online mode is going to be a cluster ♥♥♥♥ if its under the control of a mentally handicapped who is not capable of leadership.

Its especially odd when you take into account that the exploit the dataminer used was not only patched, but he didn't even share how to do the exploit in the first place.

Really strange behavior from Tyrone.

I'm surprised how many people only start to figure this out now. I guess the Cavestory thing or Nicalis ghosting developers just weren't raising many red flags. I'm also surprised how he got away with the *totally not sponsored i just like INSERT BRAND NAME for real winkwink* g-fuel thing.
Edit: Edmund said it wasn't sponsored, not Tyrone

So being a jerk with a fragile, paper-thin skin is on brand for him then. My bad. I am glad Tyrone et al. will not be involved with Mewgenics. I will not support any Nicalis project moving forward. RIP Bozo.

Hey bright side is maybe they will fix greedier mode right?

Did he really claim it wasn't sponsored? Wasn't that thing made to promote an Isaac-themed G-fuel drink (whatever that is)?

Nevermind, my bad it wasn't Tyrone who tweeted, it, but Edmund:

So according to him, Gfuel didn't have to pay anything to gain the right to make a product based on Ed's/Nicalis' characters?

No he only said, that the g-fuel daily/seed update was just a joke, likely in similar vein to people starting their youtube videos with "This video is brought to you by RAID Shadow - nevermind got you lmao!".

But If g-fuel is known for something, it's sponsored content, so i still don't believe that especially with there being a TBoI-themed flavor.
