Is cursed eye worth it?

I mean even with the obvious downside (get yeeted out of the boss room lmao) aside, I find myself skipping it even with black candle or as the lost cuz I don't think it's helping with my DPS, all shots connecting or not. Usually just firing normal tears is way easier; but then again I'm not a fan of charge shots in general so what do I know. Am I missing something or does it just exist to troll you?

I actually like it for some reason. It's not helping with dps yes but it's not maiking it worse either. The only downside is the teleport when hit while charging so you have to play more cautious
