i want to play with all the new additions of repetance but the game is just way too hard after the update am i the only one who feels like this?

You'll get used to it at some point, the game is difficult but not impossible

If you were used to hard mode before Repentance, feel free to play on normal for a while. Repentance hard mode got changed, its no longer "normal+". That may be why you feel it's "too hard".

I thought so too when repentance first came out. But ultimately its a skill issue. Just play on hard mode long enough and you get used to the pacing and enemies.

One thing I actually prefer about Hard Mode is the increased enemy projectile speed. Yeah, it gives you less time to react or move out of the way, but the projectiles get out of your way faster and stop clogging up the room

I prefer the harder difficulty tbh. I don't like being able to play the game with my eyes closed

It's not too hard, it simply used to be too easy. You'll be able to mindlessly walk through the game just like before when you get used to the new difficulty, which shouldn't take long.

same for me but you must get used to it. I have been playing 'normal tboi' for my whole life so meeting those new enemies with weird and unique patterns that my brain do not knew (besides it still being isaac) left me with frustration and stupid deaths. Give yourself a little time, change your mindset and it will be good real fast and you will be able to enjoy the game even more.
