Regarding Nicalis games

Is Nicalis games still under controversy or has everything smoothed over? I really want to get the Repentance DLC for this summer sale but don't want to support a company with bad working practices. So is everything good with Edmund and Nicalis again?

That part was in mockery and playing a role to someone who threw out insults, the reason why it was so verbose and privileged sounding. But seems like you could not distinguish that. Edmund doesn't work for Nicalis. They just publish Isaac. He said in an interview that he couldn't cut ties while Repentance was in development, as the team behind it worked so hard. Edmund did say that his future games won't be published my Nicalis. Sorry you received alot of nasty replies.

But yeah, Edmund would have cut ties with Nicalis alot longer ago if him and Florian hadn't been getting a fair share of the pay, and Nicalis did great with the development of rebirth so I'd say it's fine to get it
