BUG: Reverse Tarot Card Emperor? ruined the daily

Playing today's daily (4/10/21) used a reverse Emperor card for fun, and it teleported me to the mom's foot fight, I beat her, got an item from one of the pedestals, now I am stuck, no door to leave through, no light/hole in the floor. I'm stuck with 9 lives and no way to kill myself to maybe port out.....

Yeah I think it's bugged if you get mom fight with that card. Rip strong Eve run.

Yeah, I was on a pretty good alt lost run, might have finally gotten an unlock, when this happened to me.

this bug STILL exists, so bumping to get attention to it. yet another daily run ruined to a bug, getting hte cracked crown has gotten more than tiring since i've had 3 streaks ended by patches (patches end daily run streak) or game ending bugs

Reversed Emperor pulls from the pool two floors down. So don't use it on Caves 2 until the bug is officially fixed. Also, as far as I know the Cracked Crown achievement is also broken anyway.

I don't understand why people still take the risk of softlocking themselves fully knowing it's a possibility and when they get softlocked, they complain about it. Just don't use the card and you'll be fine smh.

Maybe they just didn't know about it, duh

More importantly, what happens if you use this card on Caves XL? Does it teleport you to a Depths 1 boss since you're technically on the first floor of Caves, or does it take you to the Mom fight, since it's 2 floors down?

Maybe they should have removed that boss from the boss pool in the last patch. It is a very well known bug after all.

Maybe they should have. Maybe they should release some smaller updates with bugfixes instead of spending a month to make a large one. Maybe they shouldn't repeat the same thing that happened with "monthly" boosterpacks. Maybe Ed should have learned something about managing his games in 11+ years of being one of the most famous indie devs.

I don't know if he has involvement with the DLC anymore. I think he left the antibirth team on their own, but of course I don't really actually know. It's true that they could release smaller updates but come on, they knew of the existance of the bug for a while now, just uncheck mom from the boss pool ffs.

Well... this just happened to me... glad to see it's definitely a new bug that was never seen before and totally not a known issue that was reported more than half a year ago... I didn't want to finish the daily anyway...
