Please add satanic bible to Tainted Lost's item pool.

It's not something I would classify as a 'useless item' for him at all. Being able to turn boss pedestals into devil room items while being able to simultaneously dip angel rooms freely is definitely something T. Lost would love to have.

Damocles is. Tainted Lost doesn't get protection items, revival items and items that would be useless to him.

Yes, but if you collect Birthright on the regular Lost, it removes anything with the item tag 'nolostbr' from his treasure pool, which still contains Satanic Bible, so they don't see it as something that's too strong / a defensive option for him, but something he wouldn't make use of, which I disagree with.

it's considered a defensive item because it generates health, so it's removed. simple as

As the first post mentioned, Satanic Bible means a free devil item on each floor for no downside at all.
It's clearly overpowered, on just one item. That's probably why it can't be generated.

But the secondary effect is arguably as powerful as the health generation, especially for The Lost. If you could find it, Satanic Bible would still be far from the most overpowered items available to him.

yeah keyword secondary effect. sacred heart isn't removed 'cause the hp isn't the point of the item, same goes for why satanic bible isn't included

Again, it's on the "nolostbr" list, which as its name implies is meant for The Lost's Birthright effect removing items that are irrelevant to him. Being too good is literally the opposite of the intent of that list, so your reasoning is not the devs' reasoning and the devs' reasoning is flat-out wrong.

While we're at it, does anyone know why we can find Yuck Heart as Tainted Lost? Unless I'm missing something, it's completely useless with this character, isn't it?

Yes, we do know why. They forgot to remove one of the tags in the xml file. It has both the "offensive" tag and "nolostbr" tag, when it's only supposed to have the "nolostbr" tag. All other items in the file have one of those tags or the other, not both, so it's clear that they intended to remove it from his pool, but missed the other tag.
