You know how many unlocks are tied to Hard Mode, in literally all Isaac content, that aren't co-op babies? 5. And only two of those are new to Repentance.
If you're struggling to dodge shots on Hard Mode because you're getting used to it, just switch to Normal, you'll get all the same unlocks and if you're serious about 100%, you can always revisit the fights later. You're at -30 wins, just swallow your pride and start from the bottom.
I also heavily advise NOT taking characters traditionally seen as "the strongest" like Azazel or Judas. Take lower-risk, but still powerful characters, like Isaac.
I hadn't played for a while before Repentance and therefore started in normal to get back in and it's as easy as it has always been.
And there's probably the same amount of peoples if not more who disagree with you. You have an option which is to play on normal, complaining a game is difficult when playing on hard is weird.
And yes, hard mode is hard. I'd reckon that's why it's called that.
Ahh, so you're complaining that hard mode is actually an actual hard mode, and not normal mode with 3 more champions enemies per floor?
nothing really matters if the game is not fun
Too many runs end up in disasters unless you min-max everything and know exactly what you are picking given your current build.
And oh boy does it feel great to just have wasted one hour by just getting spanked by mother or the other 5 bosses.
And for the git gud crowd: please understand that many of the people taking issue with the DLC are already spending an insane amount of time on just that one video game... This is a borderline abusive relationship. :D
