Why am I fighting the red angel first?

If by the definition of "progression" I should be fighting the weaker white-clothed variant because it's weaker? Why the ♥♥♥♥ am I getting punished for wanting to fight Mega Satan for no reason? Dude chill out. The chance for either of the angels is 50/50. No need to be that one guy from twitter and calling Edmund "McTrasheap"

If you use the sacrifice room, they will appear in the correct order. If you force it via bombing an angel statue, it is random.
Also, what an irrelevance to get all worked up about.

both angles are easy to kill. sounds like someone is and needs to git gud (and is prob a troll, but whatever)

Once you get used to fighting them they're pretty easy.

Yeah this is pretty annoying. Both angels are relatively easy once you get used to their patterns but the red one is significantly harder and can easily f*ck you up if you don't have enough DPS and he just decides to spawn 300 angels. I never understood why they don't spawn in a set order even though one of them is clearly intentionnally harder (and sacrifice room / mega satan give you the fights in the correct order)

Maybe if people are too weak to face the red angel they shouldn't go out of their way to bomb a statue? It's not like it just randomly appears out of nowhere.
It's like complaining about the bosses in the boss rush room being hard if you only have basic stats. Yeah, d'oh, don't go in there then.

Except you're not guaranteed to find more than 2 angel rooms in a run (especially if you *don't* fight the angel, since without any key piece you'll likely have a 50% chance to get a DD as your next deal). If you want to fight mega satan you're kinda forced to fight angels whenever you can.
At the end of the day it will still be a 50% coin toss that can make your run much harder/easier. It's like if ??? or The Lamb had a 50% chance to be replaced with a much harder variant.

He has a point though, it doesn't make sense that you fight the harder angel first. That's like getting the bloat on basement 1 and monstro on depths 1.

Your analogy is incorrect. Both angels at the same time is easier than Bloat.
