soul of the forgotten's hidden ability?

so i was just having an average run when i came across soul of the forgotten in caves 1 so i decided to save it for the boss because i didn't think it was all that good and certainly not good enough to save for late game, when i got there and used it, to my surprise both the death arcana and the reversed death arcana spawned on the floor, i haven't been able to recreate this since but if it has the ability to spawn those it may be more than just a worse soul of jacob and esau, if anyone figures out how this happens, please let me know

Description of soul of the forgotten :
Gives you The Forgotten as a temporary familiar, with 2 Bone hearts and his bone weapon. He behaves the same as how Esau works with Jacob, following your exact movements

Don't spawn anything else !

You just cleaned a room with a familiar or an item giving a card each X rooms + the natural reward from the room so you think it was a spawn from your soul.

no, i didn't finish the room the cards spawned imediatly and right next to him, i hadn't even approached the boss when i used it, also i didn't have familiars

closest thing i had was contract from below but i didn't have anything that spawned stuff

weird because i had a similar thing happen once, it was either this or soul of jacob and esau, can't remember since it was a while ago, i remember using it and it spawned a couple of black hearts

soul of Jacob and easu spawns an easu with random items equal to the amount you have. items that drop things upon pickup will activate too. it's a pretty good soul because you usually get a few pickups out of it,

forgotten from soul of forgotten doesn't come with any items, so it's a mystery how 2 cards could spawn. every time I've ever used it, nothing dropped. maybe using it against a boss has a chance to trigger it?
or do you have any mods?

shame, really thought we'd found some super hidden secret interaction here for a second smh

as for the original post anyways i cant really think of anything that'd cause it, if you still have the seed or any screenshots that'd probably help, if its not a glitch or mods its likely its just another item you had

actually yeah, that would be a cool mod idea, certainly would make it more useful
