i hate Bethany and T.Bethany wisps

WAIT! before you sh*t talk on me.......i know that Beth and T.Beth are fan-favorite characters with huge game breaking potential, but let me talk: is not my fault, i just can't really enjoy beth and her Tainted version at all.......and the main reason (atleast for both of them) are the wisps....god if i subjectively hate them the way they are.

for bethany wisps are essential, not only for their potential, but also because this bitc......bi.....beautiful creature don't uses soul hearts as means of defense.....she can't protect herself from losing pacts and this drives me ape (god if im happy of having 100% her, so i don't have to play her again anymore)....everytime......losing pacts for bull*hit rooms were there was too many enemies and not enough space to dodge, this mixed with paltry damage output of my character is a pure torture......and god......loosing pacts triggers me more than dying i swear! The cherry on top of the cakes are the wisps and their mechanic.......they acts like the crappy bones you generate with the book of the dead......they (sometimes) shield you one damage and then they are gone......you waste more time on loading the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ book of virtues than wasting the wisps you generates from them.....thats awful.

talking of tainted bethany tho, i genuinely enojoy her more of the base bethany, this just because she finally uses soul hearts as one and only sources of health, and uses red hearts as fuel for the lemegeton, so you don't lose pacts with her.......how lovely is this character......until you realize that her main way to reach game breaking potential is focused on keeping wisps alive....... T.Beth can create weaker versions of the ingame items, but they shatter if someone hits the wisp who represent those items.......oh god no.....don't do this to me.


Why the wisps dosen't tank more damage.....why? why is so impossible to keep them safe in some rooms? why Edmund hates us so much?

loosing sacred heart wisp makes me hate it bro, not the red hearts fuel thing......they last exactly how a t.lost lasts in a downpour room with 4 willo (the ring of flaming flies)......simply it get yeeted out of reality faster than a snap of thanos.

it is just like say "if the item is good, but one-time use, then its bad" but as it is usally happens,no, its a good one, as a example forget me now, diplopia, eden's soul.

but diplopia and eden's souls gives you permanent benefits before disappear, the wisps no....is just temporary (expecially if the room you put your feet into it decide to eat your wisp). as i said: my opinion is extremely subjective and waaaay far from objective, beth is good but i hate her with every fiber of my being.

I'm fine with t.bethany wisps. But regular bethany wisps are definitely too weak.

Yeah, there are just so many ways to hilariously break the game with their heart-charge mechanic. Regular Bethany also has no bad unlocks except babies, something I don't think any other character can claim.
