Booster Pack 5?

I'm looking for news on BP 5, but I can't find anything recent. Last I read they were trying to have it done in January... That clearly didn't happen. There's also no word on what BP 5 is going to include. Bosses? Challenges? New Floor, maybe? Does anyone know anything about this?

I highly doubt they will add more bosses/challenges or new floors. Booster packs were only bug fixes, new rooms, new enemies and new items, iirc.

There was talk that there was going to be more in this one, because it's the last one. I'm really hoping that's true. At least a few challenges - that's probably the easiest thing to add.

Also, given how late this booster is, that's a good sign that it's a big one. It was supposed to be out well over a month ago.

Considering we were supposd to get a booster each month for a year (instead of 5 over more than a year), I wouldn't be so sure about that.
I mean, yeah, it's nice if it happens. Don't put your hopes too high though.

The short paragraph on the BoI wiki linked above gives a good indication (along with Twitter evidence) of the direct the final booster pack will go. It appears to me that it'll be substantially larger than any of the other boosters but that's just my impression.

To me, the most important aspect of the booster is the improved modding tools; I spent a few days getting to grips with Lua only to find how atrocious all the documentation for the BoI tools were and just how limited it all was. What many modders have been able to add to the game thus far is nothing short of heroic.

The last booster Pack will include something Like +50 new achievements, 20-30 new items and more trinkets and aside from that many many Bug fixes like unavoidable damage rooms and Delirium tele frag etc. Killburn ist working with Edmund to achieve this.

There will also be new enemys if i'm correct.
Achievements will be ps4 & Switch achievements ported to the PC Version.

Estimated release is mid/end of march so exspect april i think.
