Greedier mode close to impossible?

Too many voids and stone enemies you can't get rid off quickly (so they stay the whole round) and you only make 14cent on first round (making the shop useless until after boss fight)...

Nope, you're right, it's hard as hell.

Once you reach the 3 or 4th floor, each wave spawned every 2 second. And i only had a huge amount of 6 passive item. Because of how insane it is, i have to spend my gold only on key and health..

i went with Lilith and it was a piece of a cake.

ultra greed on the other hand, has a 2nd form and he can kick your ass.
gone from somewhat moblie to extreme moblie, jumping to your location, droping bombs while jumping, and doors will fire gold brimstone.

I would have to agree. It's all well and good to have a challenge or find something difficult but I was really surprised by how much was thrown at you all at once. Too top it off with the fact you don't get enough coins to gear up for later floors.
I managed to make it too greed once after a few hours of trying just to randomly die from nothing.

I'm finding this mode terrible. It's frustratingly hard, and not in a good way. Greed Mode might have been a bit too easy, but this is just annoying.

Its excruciatingly unfair, more frequent waves, less money. I just had a Cain run, I was 100% fit for the Greed fight but not the gold form. HE ♥♥♥♥♥ YOU UP! ITS SO UNFAIR!

Greedier mode difficulty has been greatly decreased since this thread was created.

I havent noticed a difference. His golden form is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ impossible. The scaling seems off, since i had a perfect run to deal with ultra greed, and it went well, but his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gold form always comes back and slaps my ass

It seemed very easy with Samson. Any damage taken increases the attack. Plus I was spamming Blank Card and Strength Card.

Ultra Greedier requires a particular kind of tactic. Use the four corners of the room, and never move under him while he's jumping.

I disagree. I've never understood why people think Greedier mode is so hard. I blew through it with every character relatively easily. Plus, Ultra Greedier is a complete joke if you have some kind of bomb resistance; and even if you don't, his moves are all telegraphed.

It's easy to me. So is the game in general. Other than that retarded ass "if you want to fight the real last boss for certain you need to rush and beat the game in under 30 min" trash. Which is just annoying.

Think I'm trolling? Check my achievements. I think I've beaten greedier mode with all but 1/2 characters. :)

I gave greedier mode my first try a few minutes ago as Margaret.

I was like "Oh well, it is kind of harder :o"
until I beat Ultra Greed and then I was like "Oh, it wasn't that hard :)"
and then he was like "That wasn't even my final form >:)"
and he kicked my ass on his second phase and now I'm like "I definitely didn't see that coming :("

- pyromaniac (ez boss fight)
- gnawleaf + orbitals like sacrificial dagger and familiars
- piercing shots or laser tears for attacking multiple enemies (during the waves)
- serpent's kiss
