ZIP and It's The Key!

Can you get these via Victory Laps? I should have gotten both, but nothing came up yet...

Does the run have to end for them to pop or something? Or must it be done in one natural run?

Zip! can't be on a victory lap, it has to be on the first one. I tried it myself, beat the Lamb on my second run in eight minutes, didn't get it. Can't say for It's The Key! yet, but I'd assume the same. Sorry.

Damn it all. So, reset until you get Poly or Prop start, hope for Cricket and Magic Mush, etc etc...

Annoying as ♥♥♥♥, but I guess that makes sense...

Normal is so...meh. And Azazel isn't all that grand without good item finds, as well. I mean, unless you find some lucky item room find or Cricket's Head out of a chest on the way...

I did 'Zip' on a victory lap some weeks ago, I don't know if was a bug, but it worked.

Use the lost on normal; if you can get a goatshead early on you'll be all but be guaranteed to be able to easily do it. You could also keep resetting until the first floor is an XL so you get your first devil deal even faster, + 2 treasure rooms and if it doesn't turn out good, reset and try for another XL first floor. I got lucky on one run and found a devil room with 4 items: pentagram, dark bum, lil brimstone and the mark. Suffice to say it was smooth sailing from there.

In the shop look for the map, compass or blue map. Any one of those is HUGELY helpful in plotting a course. Look for things that let you carry more cards/runes so you can hold ansuz runes, emperor cards, or multiples of anything similar to use them to get thru the womb/utero and stages beyond faster and get right to the bosses (since there are no more treasure rooms/shops at that point). Get LOTS of bombs so you can bomb thru rooms in the womb/utero and sheol. Magic fingers can even be helpful to clear out rooms if you find plenty of coins.

FAIR WARNING: thinks to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ programming by Nicallis don't be shocked if your run is ruined by beating mom and getting directly teleported to the void. This happened to me on 2 of my BEST runs randomly and was cause for an immediate reset. >:(

NOTE: you MUST beat the lamb in the dark room to get the achievement.

For Zip!, use maggie, find sacrifice room. Step on the spikes more than 12 times and you should be teleported to the dark room. A full mature Bumbo should be enough to take care of the lamb.

she has yum heart and sacrifice room can pay out a ton of spirit hearts if your lucky.

Im fairly sure i got zip and once more with feeling at the same time, maybe it was a bug

You could do the same with the keeper. And probably quicker. The problem isn't getting to the dark room: it's surviving to the lamb then beating him. Rooms full of 2 adversaries/mega fatties/chubs/etc or even rooms with 4 greeds, teratomas, etc. would make short work of an underpowered character. And if they didn't, you would spend too much time getting past them.

No, bumbo would not be enough. That's just nuts.

I've tried that before, not so easy without a good start and a reusable explosive active to deal with troublesome drops in front of doorways.

Zip is indeed pretty difficult. I was trying to get it today.

My best chance run I hit the sacrifice room 5 to 8 times AFTER the last angel died and it just wouldn't teleport me. I've never seen a more stingy sacrifice room. I finally got teleported at only 2 red hp left and the first room was double Adversary.

I reset then because I just wasn't going to have the time.
