Exit game but always running,,,,

No matter what I do, I cant not end task in task manager, close the game on steam and doesn't do anything... Anyone else having issue?

ive noticed the same thing it never fully stops in steam either until i force close steam and reopen it. have you figured out anything? maybe somebody with some deeper understanding on how the files work can point us in the right direction. also its the only game that does this

I had this issue once, the first time I closed it I left my pc on and when I came back hours later I noticed I was like still playing it and I tried to close it with task manager and it didn’t stop, used the steam button and it closed after a few minutes, how I fixed it? I don’t know, it happened only that time and now it’s closing normally as it should..

yeah mine just always says ''stopping'' on the botton in steam, then if i completely close steam it will say ''play game'' like normal but even then it is still running an exe file and another file in the background using like 2gb of system memory and im denied access to end the task

I have the same problem.
Even if I stop steam there is still a task in the TaskManager thant I cant even top. I tried killing it from the terminal / super shell but the task wont stop. And its using 2GB of Memory.
Devs can you please give some feedback?

I dont know why its fixed for me now. I needet to reinstall my windows OS after my boot drive broke. I installed Delta Force on another SSD than before and now it works better. its a virus people. you guys should have known this before downloading the game. it is literally a chinese game that was released for free and uses the most invasive anti cheat which has full access to your pc. no ♥♥♥♥ the game isnt going to close or do what you tell it LMAO

It's ACE. The Windows service does not shut down properly after game exit, which causes the Launcher to remain open. I've opened up a ticket with their support back in January and the only response I get is that they are still investigating.

Even if you "Force Exit" from the launcher, the Windows service is still running in the background. There is no way to force the service to stop. It gives an "Access Denied" message. I recommend a full reboot when this happens.

I do not see my game run after shutting it down, please tell me the app name you see after shut down and ill assist if i can. i do know that if you alt tab out and try to close thru steam it wont work you need to close the game in game first. then stop thru steam.

but let me know what the name is of the item you see running

this game is probaly malware constantly scanning your pc or its a program that uses you pc to mine bit coin while its running

why did you play the game then lmao youve got close to 40 hours in the game, if you uninstalled it it doesnt matter the "virus" is still there, you have to reinstall the entire system again to get rid of that "virus"

lmao right deleting a single file and hoping you got the entire virus is insane. youd have to wipe your whole pc and hope it didnt infect your internet
