Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove

Anyone know how to defeat the 7 bosses in last level of New Game Plus?
It's IMPOSSIBLE. They only give you health every 2 bosses, and forget about magic, you'll rarely get that too, and some bosses are almost impossible to defeat without magic, add to that that you get one less heart with each hit. It's an unfair challenge.

Nevermind, I beat it. Used the grey armor, saved my relics, and was kinda lucky with the boss order. Good luck to y'all who plan on playing this level!
Wonder if my big strat post from the last thread about this is too far removed. Maybe I should make it into its own thread.

Maybe. I'm still surprised I beat it the first time I started using the grey armor.
This is definitely the hardest part of the NG+ run. You only get health every two battles, and very little magic.

What worked for me was playing very economically (no magic) for the easier bosses, saving magic to speed kill Polar Knight, and not using health refill chalices until I was absolutely sure I was far enough into the boss rush that I couldn't spend one and still die.

Ultimately, I found that the biggest factor was my performance on Plague Knight. If I could get rid of him without losing too much health, I had a decent shot.
Plague Knight and Polar Knight are the hardest because they are so randumb. Pray you don't face the two of them between turkeys.

Those actually were the easiest for me, along with King Knight. My main problem was Propeller Knight and Tinker Knight,
You are better on randomly moving bosses than predictable ones that can easily be bested by repeating a pattern without taking damage?

Well, in that run I had my first boss was Polar Knight, and to defeat him you just need to get close to him and jump on him, then you'll use the charged attack on him. When he goes away you shoot him with the fireballs. And Plague Knight was my last one, you just shoot the orbs at him while also trying to jump on him, it's pretty easy.

I agreee that Plague and Polar are the hardest, if only because Polar is the only boss who can one shot you. Propellor was the first boss I got the no damage achievement on and Tinker is the easiest boss in the game in my opinion. Especially the second phase.

Relics make everything easy enough. What about true shovelry?

Odd, Polar Knight and Plague Knight were the easiest to me. You just get close to them and don't worry too much about getting hit by them, because you'll defeat them much faster. I hated Tinker Knight because the second phase pissed me off having to go up there and being shot by one of those little rockets coming from its shoulder. I got the No Damaga achievement from King Knight, by far the easiest boss.
It's possible (and quite easy) to never fall from the top part of Tinker second phase so it's really easy as long as you get up the first time. Staying close to polar knight is a sure fire way to get hit by spikes and die so I don't get how that's "easy" at all. xD

King is indeed on of the easiest bosses, almost as easy as Black Knight since he's basically a clone of you again.
That's interesting. Cool how the difficulty branches out for everyone differently.

I can pogo Tinker Knights 2nd phase from start to finish until he's dead ... (except for dancing on his drill maybe twice) - no damage

edit: stayig close to Polar Knight is easy/safe if you get hit on purpose as that'll grand you protection from spikes.

Even in my first encounter with the Polar Knight spikes never bothered me, they were easy to avoid.

Getting hit is generally what I do for Polar Knight also. I tend to just spam the shovel on bosses and never use magic. Maybe that's why I find Plague Knight annoying.
