I would advise searching for 'Shovel Knight Let's Play' on Youtube, as this will show you some extended gameplay and give an idea what the game is like to play.
Also I'd advise picking it up in the next 3 hours as the price will go up considerably once the sale is over.
Gameplay-wise... Im not kid, but got my butt burnt way often (play platformers since sonic on sega mega drive) :D
That sort of thing made MEN out of us! And look at us now, wouldn't you say that all that blood, sweat and tears was worth the end result?
.... OK, on second thought, maybe DON'T subject your child to what we went through and just let them enjoy the game whoever they feel like.
