Curious what game engine they used to create this?

I believe Capy Games' other games are in Unity, so I imagine that's what Below is running on.

Checking the game folder it seems not Unity.

I can guess they used their own engine for this.

PhyreEngine. They built a lot of their own tools inside it, and a lot of these were connected to Maya. Then they had an entire rendering pipeline built on that.
