I was caught off guard by the long intro too, but it grew on me eventually. Its not like you are just staring at sea and clouds, your listening to nice music too.
Then you do it again, when the intro is over.
I love the intro. Just great. Fits the game perfectly.
the music, the feeling of grandeur, the MUSIC AGAIN, loved it so much.
Only little thing I would have liked would have been to be able to steer the ship just a little at some point.
its more of being "weak" in the start, later in the game and after a few runs you will have no problems with what was bothering you in the early game. that's the idea of a lot of roguelike games, you can't finish the game on your first run, but you will get stronger and stronger in each run you make don't worry about it.
