Boring game and not much to the story line. Predictable jump scares too.

В целом, “Among the Sleep - Enhanced Edition” предлагает интересный опыт благодаря своему уникальному сеттингу и визуальному повествованию, но может разочаровать тех, кто ищет более глубокий и разнообразный геймплей. Игра может похвастаться красивой графикой и хорошим визуальным повествованием, но некоторые могут не найти ее особенно пугающей. Это солидная игра, и если у вас будет возможность ее сыграть, я бы порекомендовал это сделать.

I toyed with the funny coat man's trigger by smashing every single bottle outside his movable path, I feel no remorse.

Honestly, this has been one of those games that I always wanted to play, and now that I have...
It's a very mixed bag, like, all the normal every day life being perceived as spooky things is neat, but the story and gamplay are bad.
Like you can see the twist coming as soon as you see the monster and the gamplay is just mantle, crawl, collect, repeat.
Nice thing is tho you can beat it in under 2hrs, so get it and a sale and beat it, then decide if ya wanna keep it.

This has been one of my favourite horror games for a while now.

The story-line of the game was portrayed and set up very smoothly. Which is surprising since you presumably play as a toddler/baby. Not only was the game attention-grabbing and spooky, it was also fun and fluid. The game has collectables to find, which you can always come back and find on a new play-through.

Overall, great game 8/10

Among the Sleep is a Norwegian-developed first-person horror walking sim, where you play as a toddler. Oh also, this is probably the only game in existance to feature the Swedish nurse rhyme "Trollmors vaggsång" which is pretty funny as it's something I recognize from my own childhood.

You wake up in the middle of the night, looking for your mother together with your new best friend - the Teddy Bear. While he has no name, he is actually voiced! The voice-acting is pretty decent, however as someone from Scandinavia it would have actually been fun to play it with Norwegian voice acting (I only noticed this existed due to the credits). You realize quickly that your house is not really the same during night...
During the game itself you are also told a secondary story, a story about your parents and the biggest anxiety of the child you are playing. The big monster so to speak.

So gameplay-wise you have 4 levels + the prologue. They're not very long, but different puzzles and segments makes some levels more tedious than others. The main downside of this game is the monster. I know right? Well, much like other games of the genre and era this game is the worst when the monster makes an appearance. Perhaps it's just me liking the athmosphere of "maybe a monster being there" rather than it actually existing, or more the type of horror game where you can actually beat the monsters. Eitherway the puzzles are mostly 3D platforming or collecting items, nothing complicated but it's not really simple either.

This isn't a very long game, you can definitely finish it quicker than I did who chased down all of the collectible drawings (and re-did some segments due to the previously mentioned monster). But I'd say it's recommended for people who are fan of this genre and type of games!

It didn't catch me. No real challenge, standard story. Feeling-wise I sort of expected a Little Nightmares kinda game but this one is rather repetitive and without detail. Great ambient sounds though.

I watched this game in my childhood and it traumatized me ;-; but the message and overall horror in the story is beautifully sad. While it is pricey (Got it on Sale), the message and wonder of this game makes it truly worth it (Especially the Puzzles).
