Can't open door

I'm near the end of chapter 3.there is a gate with a triangle lock that you have to unlock. I found the key but when I click on the lock it won't unlock

Remember that you have to select the key in the inventory to use it on the lock. You can switch between items in your inventory using the 'a' and 'd' keys. Let us know if it still doesn't work, and we'll look into it.

It doesn't work for me either. I'm stuck in the well area. It opened the door initially, but then I quit (and reloaded the game a following night) behind the door, and now it wont open.

edit: just saw your post in the other thread Tiur, and that you know about this bug. Any idea on an ETA for a fix? I guess I could play the game through again as the key should work the first time, but I'd prefer to wait for a fix. I have other games I can play in the meantime :)

I tried to open the door but the game lags so munch its hard to do anything.

From Captininsanity.rar.exe |LAB| : Found a workaround for anyone who's enjoying the game too much to wait for a fix. Go into the "Controls" tab of "Options" and set a key to "Console", walk to the door, press that button, type noclip then fly through the door, then open console again and type noclip again to turn it off. The square key will still work after that, and the game will progress normally. It works !!!!!!
