DEFINITELY will not be buying this game for $20 or even $15.. OVERPRICED.
^Reviews are to be taken with a grain of salt.
For me it's just a question of money being tight enough right now that I have to think about a $17-$20 dollar purchase--sad but true--so I'm sitting with the decision for a bit. But in terms of value, I've read comments by people saying you can get 3 hours of game time if you take your time with it (which is how I'd like to play), and that's comparable to time/cost for watching a movie--so to me it seems worth it from a playtime/cost perspective (with the caveat that I haven't purchased or played it yet).
I didn't know that they were working on DLC to extend gametime. Knowing that, I will probably wait. I'd rather experience as much of the story as I can the first time around, rather than go back for bits and pieces. I DO want to support the devs because this game has a GREAT concept and it really revs up them feels ESPECIALLY for a parent such as myself, but they're asking too much for too little. Free DLC? Wonderful. Reward early-access players with a low price and free DLC, not punish them with high prices and promises.
I think it's insulting to call a game overpriced, even though you haven't played it. (let alone have any insight on its development) Not to attack you, but the current trend of people thinking they understand how much things should cost is getting ridiculous. The steam sales are really spoiling some people. I understand the game may seem like it's too much for you, but as they say ''beggard can't be choosers''. If you want the game for less money you're going to have to wait. I was hoping for a further discount myself, but it looks like i'm going to be waiting as well. There's just no reason to whine like a child not getting their way. There are plenty of othe games to choose from.
