Among the sleep free to keep @ 21.10 Epic games store

So those who wants this game free next thursday Epic games store site just claim and keep offer last whole week. Not sure if small extra sequence gameplay is included tough. I remember getting this game with kicksstarter from 2013 when it was met funded goal and was greenlit program to Steam and now it see it is total free next week.

Too bad it keeps crashing on me.. with a "ERROR: SymGetSymFromAddr64, GetLastError: 'Attempt to access invalid address.'" in the output.txt. More and more of the free games from Epic are behaving like this - and zero help from the game authors too, since its free.

Got trouble with the EGS version too.
After the game's intro passes it requires me to login to the Epic Games Launcher. The thing is, I am already logged on and I couldn't even have started the game without logging on.

Since EGS Launcher has no forum connected and when it does link one, it's to Steam Discussion Boards. EGS fix your stuff.

the problem persists and this broken game denies playing.

the problem persists and this broken game denies playing.

I am unsure what the updated entailed, but I noticed it too when I logged in today. The only problem I am encountering even after the patch is the login wall, again. I'll describe it step by step for the devs and EGS personnel.

1 - I start 'Among the Sleep - Enhanced Edition', as made freely available for this week's giveaway, from the EG Launcher where I am logged in
2 - Game starts, krillbite logo shows
3 - The screen jumps to my primary browser and opens
https://www.epicgames.com/id/login?user_code=XxXx&client_id=XxXx&scope=basic_profile%20offline_access
(To be clear, the XxXx is to replace my personal info shown)
4 - Not logging into this login wall, I jump back manually to the running game.
5 - Four logo's show (Kickstarter, Unity, etc.), followed by Intro title screen starts, followed by the message:
'Please login to Epic Games with the account that has purchased the game.'
Retry (button)
Quit (button)
6 - Clicking Retry results in step 3, shutting down the game

Same problem here.

I installed on my home device after getting it through the free discount. I ran the game, it stopped and required me to log on to Epic. I did so, tabbed back to game, and played without a problem.

Now, almost a week later, I'm trying to install it on my laptop. Logged into Epic, used the launcher, the game boots up, then stops on the "Log On to the Account you purchased it in etc. Retry / Quit". I press Retry, and it doesn't nothing. I tab over to desktop: no browser window opens automatically. Epic is minimized through launching the game. There's no option, no way to do anything. I quit the application and bought a second copy through Steam. Will still like to know how to resolve this.
